Even though it’s not part two technically and it probably doesn’t make much sense, it is a continuation, a signal of life to my blog. It’s been almost a week and two days since I first started and until now I’ve been writing fairly regular. I realize now that I like thinking and writing my blogs in english which is nice.
off duty
Today is Wednesday and I don’t have school, since I’m not taking Math two anymore. I had it three times a week, this was the ONLY class I had that many times, al the other were two classes per week. Which means now I have tons of free time, makes me want to get a part time job, but realistically speaking I’m not really sure I could ever see the day. gg
Saddest day of the week
It’s Monday, Semanai is finally over, and now I find myself with a decision, I either keep posting and this blog or not. On one side it would be nice to continue and just putting my mind on words to help me get my ideas organized, on the other side, I know myself feel enough to have my doubts.
Best for last
On the last day we had to make a video, in part as evidence that we learned about editing videos, and in part as last days activity. The video had to last around one minute and could be made in teams, taking advantage of this, my good friend Nazareo and I made our video together, he was the cameraman and I was the main actor, and I also considered myself to be the director. On this last day I had the opportunity to talk a little bit more up close with @rjhogue and @hj_dewaard in the live conference. I even got to ask more than one question and really interact with the ladies in more of a conversation kind o way, instead of the usual just listen and ask the occasional question. I’ll leave the video here for you guys to see.
Close to the end – Day 4
Today we realize it’s Thursday and Semanai i is getting close to an end. Ken gave us very good tips to record and edit audio, with an app called Audacity. I had already learned a little bit about it in my first semester of high school, so I was a little familiar with how things work. As always our first task is to do our daily blog, which at this point got to be a little bit of a natural thing, but i’d like to get to upload them at a more regular time.
All personal
Makes me feel a little bit lazy and a little bit bad that almost all of the digital media I use on a daily basis is almost all personal, and very little part of it is used for an academic or professional way, but a always, we need honest answers for the studies. I tried to use colors to resemble the logos of each of the companies.
Self-Safari
We were asked to take five pictures of things that represent ourselves in one way or another. Specifically five pictures of things that I like about myself, five things i’d like to improve and five things that nobody knows about me. I’d like to improve my laziness, I like riding the bike and playing basketball. And as for things that not so many people know about me are that i’m a Chelsea supporter and I can solve a ruin’s cube in about 20 seconds.
Transitional thangs
So today we learn about transitional technology, a bit deep if you ask me. Dave Cormier talked about a little pice of technology found in every household in america about 10-15 years ago, it connected USB port with the computer. What makes it transitional is the fact that we didn’t have it right the first time, and now it’s obsolete because then we realized what we did wrong and fix it, which in my opinion isn’t bad, but should have probably been seen from the start. As technology advances, we might learn to universalize ports and get rid off cables, for for now we are stuck with bad product innovation. Made me think about how many things in the world are transitional, and how unbelievable it is that we can’t seem to learn from our mistakes.
Where we come from, and where we’re going
As I continue to sit next to a good friend of mine, thinking about what to write about, waiting to get a little inspiration from any place that I can find it, I realize; the only thing that i’m really willing and able to say are situations that a get into, friends and random thoughts.
This is how we do it
This is a blog about me, myself and I. Talk a little about my daily life and experiences, to help you figure out what you want or simply entertain.
